ChowNow is commission-free ordering, and that part is genuinely good. It is also an ordering layer rather than a brand.
It starts around $119 a month plus $119–$499 to set up, plus 2.95% + $0.29 per transaction, and the website is a template add-on. First year, that is roughly $1,550–$4,400. Starter with us is $240 for the year.

Ordering layer versus the whole shop
We include the site, the logo upscale and the photo enhancement in the base price. With ChowNow those are either add-ons or not offered at all.

The honest part
ChowNow integrates with 30+ POS systems and we integrate with none yet — it is on the roadmap and it is not built. If deep POS integration is a hard requirement for you today, they are genuinely stronger there and you should take that seriously. If your POS is a cash register and a phone on the wall, you do not need that complexity and you should not be paying for it.
